Recently in the Kids Justice House of Prayer (KJHP), we have been focusing on Jesus as the Healer.  We are opening different “stations” in the House, each with a specific prayer purpose.  The Nations Station was first, and most recently was the Healing Station. The kids have been memorizing scripture and hearing Bible stories related to healing, and they have been gaining revelation that they too can pray in the Name of Jesus and see miracles happen:  the sick made well, the lame to walk, blind eyes and deaf ears to open, and more!

On the first day of opening the Healing Station, a very small boy who had not come to the KJHP before came forward for prayer after hearing about Jesus. We had asked for anyone who was sick or hurt to come up, so we were expecting him to tell us that he had an “owie” or a fever. Instead, he surprised us all by pointing to his “broken heart.” The Khmer staff member speaking with him asked for him to repeat what he said because she thought she had heard him wrong.  Again, he pointed to his heart and said it was “broken.”  He was so very tiny. I was moved to tears and wondered what he had experienced in his short life.

There are such treasures hidden and living amongst the garbage. Value beyond what money could buy. God sees each little life. And He sees yours too.  He truly is the Healer!

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” -Psalm 147: 3
